What's the middle step up, though? I see there's a pro desktop or something or rather at my local Best Buy, but it doesn't seem to include server utils and won't be supported in the future (as far as I know). So why would I buy it? I really don't want to go RHEL route and spend hundreds of dollars every years when I'm not an enterprise user.

As I see it, there is no clear path for a developer on a budget other than to use Fedora. That's why I hope Fedora remains relatively stable.
