Hey all,
I have gotten quite a few requests to change the panel menu icon (a red fedora), and have been several examples sent to me via email. For the time being, there is no reason to change it (and therefore no real reason to discuss it with many long threads or emails sent directly to me).
I do, however, really appreciate everyone's fervor and effort in wanting to improve the desktop and willingness to contribute. (:
