So you are using a hub instead of a switch, otherwise, your switch is
duplicating the traffic. You agree that it's not expected to find an
unicast packet on two different ports of the same switch when mirroring
is disabled and mac-learning has not been disabled ?

I don't see how. It would be fairly simpler IMHO to fix the switch's
configuration.
