You mean you want me to explain this or someone else to explain
why this is a bad idea?-)

My take on this is that Linux should be allowed to move toward
the directions outlined here on the list a million times, and
"dropping our Unixness" may be a bit harsh, it should probably
be more along the lines of "not being so uptightly unixy" :)
